April to October is ideal for most of Gilgit-Baltistan. April brings cherry blossom in Hunza, June to September is best for Fairy Meadows, Deosai and high treks, and October offers golden autumn colours.

Most tourist areas such as Hunza, Skardu and Fairy Meadows do not require a special permit for foreign visitors with a valid Pakistani visa. Restricted zones and mountaineering peaks, including K2 Base Camp, require trekking permits, which we arrange for you.
